PDP BoT tells Ali Modu Sheriff, he is not fit to lead PDP

Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday consistently called for the resignation of Ali Modu Sheriff, the new PDP Chairman, saying he was not fit to lead their party.
The group made the demand after a consultation they held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. ‎Acting BoT chairman Senator Walid Jibrin, said the group was consulting with other organs of the party on how best to remove Sheriff.

‎“We are going to propose viable solution to this problem after we must have consulted with other organs and relevant stakeholders in the party,” Jibrin said.

Other members of the BoT that were present at the meeting include Prof. Jerry Gana, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Alhaji Shuabu Oyedokun, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman, Senator Stella Omu, Senator Jonah Jang, Mrs. Josephine Anenih, Senator Adolphus Wabara, Abdullahi Kure and Maina Waziri, among others.
