NNPC cautions Nigerians against anxiety of buying of petrol

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has advised Nigerians to abstain from anxiety of buying of petroleum products promising that the Corporation has sufficient supply to go round the country.
Malam Garba Deen Muhammad, the NNPC Group General Manager Group Public Affairs Division, made this plea on Thursday April 14, 2016, in Abuja.
According to him, the current petrol scarcity would soon be over as the remarkably long queues in major cities like Lagos and in Abuja are reducing by the day.

Anxiety buying, according to Muhammad is what is making motorists to converge in a particular filling stations thereby creating shortage especially in Abuja.
He said over 200 trucks laden with petrol have been supplied to Abuja and environs on Thursday and the trend will continue.
Muhammad further guaranteed that the Corporation is doing everything humanly possible to ensure supply and distribution of products is not disrupted in any way.

He appealed to motorists to be orderly while waiting to buy petrol and also called on marketers not to hoard the product.
